Why should we buy our fuel from Coal4Kent?


We are a small family run business with over 40 years experience in the solid fuel trade.  We take a lot of pride in offering the very best delivery service possible.  We will delivery your order as quickly as possible (or on a day that works best for you) and we will place your fuel wherever you want it on your property.  You can always speak directly with us without dealing with call centers.  


How long will I have to wait for my delivery?


Officially our delivery window is 1- 3 working days, ie order on Monday and we will delivery by Thursday.  But more often than not orders will go out the next working day.


Can I arrange delivery for a specific date and time?


Yes you can, we can normally arrange your delivery for a day and time that works best for you .  This is done on a first come first served basis.


What is the best fuel for my fire?


We offer a wide range of fuels suitable for nearly all types of appliance.

For Open Fires we can supply natural House Coal, Logs and Smokeless man made fuels.

For closed appliances like stoves and boilers we have a wide range of smokeless fuels from natural Anthracite, Logs and manufactured fuels.

If you are unsure what fuel is best for your particular type of fire then please give us a call and we will discuss which of our fuels are suitable. 


Can I set up a standing order?


Yes no problem, we currently have customers who have a delivery every fortnight, it is no problem for us to set you up a weekly, fortnightly or monthly delivery.  Just give us a call to arrange and we can set it up for you.


Do you offer bulk discounts?


Yes we offer bulk buy discounts on all our fuels.  You can typically save at least £40 per tonne on all solid fuels.  If you require a large order of a tonne or more then please call us and we will do our best to give you a great price.


How do I register an account on the web site?


Click on the "My Account" button on the top of the page and click "Register" once you have filled in a simple form your account will be active.  We will never use your details for anything other than dealing with your order and we will never cold call you.


How do I change from my current supplier?


If you have standing order with your current fuel supplier then you will just need to contact them to cancel.  If not simply give us a call or order online.  Unlike gas and electric trying a different supplier is very easy.  


What is your delivery area?


We will deliver all over Kent and are often in the major towns such as Ashford, Canterbury, Dover, Medway, Maidstone etc... We will go a bit further such as East Sussex and have been to Rye and Hastings for example but would typically need a larger order of a tonne to do so.
